How private are those photos?

Category: News

Facebook and other social networking sites make it seem so easy to just upload photos and share them to the world. Well, if you do look at it you would also think that it is just okay. Unfortunately, things can go out of hand.

When private photos are uploaded in facebook, you are exposing it to your friends and to the whole world. It’s okay if the photos taken only show your own image but if other people are involved, exposing their faces in your facebook may cause a bit of a problem. Why? Because it’s meant to be private. Who knows, these people may be in hiding and when you exposed their faces on your account so that other people may see it, who would they blame but you? It can be chaotic as to how something so simple and innocent could cause catastrophe to some of these people’s lives. Yes, you would have to consider that too before you even add an additional photo in your facebook account. Ask yourself first, would you be compromising all those people whose faces can be seen in your photos? If not, then go post those pictures. But if you are uncertain, better upload them as private photographs so only you and your chosen few can view them thus you minimize the chance for a possible problem.
